Peter Kostishack is committed to helping communities access the resources, tools, and information they need to defend their rights, territories, and environment. He has worked for decades with Indigenous Peoples’ and environmental justice movements around the world. He currently serves as Senior Advisor to the Climate and Land Use Alliance, a donor collaborative focused on climate, tropical forests, and community rights. He has also served as Director of Programs for Global Greengrants Fund, Co-Director of the Amazon Alliance for Indigenous and Traditional Peoples of the Amazon Basin, and Project Manager at the public interest GIS and mapping organization, GreenInfo Network. He has advised funders and NGO’s on program development, participatory grantmaking, and building partnerships with Indigenous Peoples’ organizations and is the founder of Just Planet Consulting. He also serves on the Board of E-Tech International.
Peter lives in Boulder, Colorado, near the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
